Let Not Your Mansion Be Empty

 


John 12:26 If any one serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; if any one serves me, the Father will honor him. 

Where Jesus Christ is, He truly desires that we should be with Him, as a fact to consider the Lord Jesus Christ has a mansion prepared and furnished just for you. Christ said, "...I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:2-3.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may win the prize and make it yours!

  • How are you running your race?
  • Is your speed accelerating or decelerating?
  • Is the urge burning rapidly?

Do all you can to maintain that your first encounter and make sure nothing quench / temper your first encounter with God.

                               "HOW ARE YOU LABOURING FOR YOUR MANSION?"

  • Earnestly Labour for the Growth of your faith.
Simon Peter urge us through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit saying "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..." (2 Peter 3:18), this is one of the Apostle who operated one-on-one with Jesus Christ and also experience the ministry of Jesus closely. Peter took it upon himself to increase and improve his faith even after the ascension of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness...)

  • Straining Forward to Win the Prize
Phil 3:13-14
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 


Conclusion: In everything you do, do it to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). Like Joseph in the bible, do well to flee from anything that will obstruct or reduce your speed in your journey to your mansion.

Your Mansion is ready, prepared and set for you, Christ just want you to run to the end and win the prize. I believe by the Grace of God my mansion will be next to yours.
