The Yoke In-Between You And God

 



Isaiah 58:9

Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, Here I am. "If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness.

When your fellowship with God has been injured & punctured, beloved, that is not a moment of praying for protection, that is not a moment of praying for riches. Dear, first things first.

Get reconcile first, rebuild your broken fellowship. Christ said "but seek ye first the kingdom the kingdom of God then all these will be yours" Mat 6:33

Before Elijah called down fire from heaven there is something very spectacular he did, and that is the very first thing God is requesting from every backslidden human / generation. 1 Kings 18:32 ... he built an altar in the name of the Lord. Elijah knows fully well that the relationship between God and Israel has been puncture, he first rebuild the altar that Ahab and Jezebel broken.

Our intimacy with God is not such that we should be managing, David was crying in Psalms 51:10-12 he said "Restore... Joy of my salvation and renew." 

What Happens When The Relation Has Been Broken

Amos 3:7 says "Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants... Our God is a Specialist in revealing danger while it is far approaching so that we His children we can put an end to it. When God has send diverse warning but to no avail then the calamity must surely befall that individual or nation. 

God called Himself a Jealous God Ex 20:5 for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God...), When God gets angry then He must react. One of God reaction when He is angry include:

  • Total Silent  

Proverbs1:28 Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.

After several warnings but to not avail, then God automatically will get silent, in Jeremiah 7:16; 11:14 God warn His prophet not to pray to Him for the people because He (God) will not listen.

  • Rejection

Hosea 1:9 Then the Lord said, "Call him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people, and I am not your God. 

In  several occasions God almost refrain from leading the Israelites into the Promise Land (Ex 33:3 But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.")


  • Destruction

Numbers 16:21, 44-45 "Separate yourselves from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once." ... and the Lord said to Moses, 45 "Get away from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once." And they fell facedown. 

Right at the spot God started destroying them, the destruction was not because He felt like destroying them but because they rejected all the warnings and still prefer their passion and lust. 

Christ Feeling For The Backslidden

2 Peter 3:9 reveals to everyone  that it is never the will of God for any to perish. It is never the will of a true father to see his child wander from the Way, Christ is personally calling all the backslidden and down trodden  Matt. 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

If your relationship with God is not balance presently, go to Him and talk to Him, restore & renew it so that old things (sins, thoughts) will completely pass away and then everything becomes new; New Lifestyle, New Personality and a complete new creature (2 Cor. 5:17).

Conclusion:

Brethren, now is the perfect time, tomorrow may be too late even the next hour, minutes may be too late. Why Not Now? Why not restore it now? Why not take the bold step now?. 


Ephesians 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
